Compromise or Resist?

Lobstermen hash out proposed
whale plan

Lobster fishermen continue to question the premise of state and federal whale conservation plans that would change the way they fish and potentially result in economic and safety consequences.

That premise says that Maine’s lobster fishery is responsible for entanglements, deaths, and injuries to the endangered North Atlantic right whale.

Lobstermen said that’s not true. They said there’s data to prove their point, but that the federal government is not listening to them.
