Energy Tide 2

U.S. Coast Guard, Ocean Renewable Power Company and congressional delegate members viewed the Energy Tide 2, a tidal energy platform, during a demonstration, Aug. 24, 2010. The Energy Tide 2 uses a turbine to create grid compatible energy stored in batteries. Ocean Renewable Power Company partnered with the Coast Guard on this project.
